| A flux-impregnated copper braid which speedily removes unwanted solder from a joint. Place the cold braid end on the solder that is to be removed. Place the hot soldering iron tip on top of the braid. Remove the braid and the hot iron at the same time. Cut off the end that contains the unwanted solder. The temperature of the soldering iron bit must be sufficient to liquify the cold solder efficiently. The braids come in 1ยท 5m lengths of four different widths. |
